  • 2024 Spring Preview: Offense

More unknowns on the Spider offense compared to the defense, but still a solid core to build around. The loss of Adam Ross a few weeks before spring was less than ideal, so it will be interesting how this group reacts and regroups heading into the 15 practices.

  • 2024 Spring Preview: Defense

The Spiders last took the field roughly 12 weeks ago and thankfully that long layoff ends this week. Spring practice #1 begins tomorrow, and with plenty of solid pieces still in place it should be the start to a great 2024 campaign.

  • 2023 Spring Game recap: The good, the bad, and what the summer holds

Richmond wrapped up the 2023 spring on Saturday with a non overly-exciting spring game. The 6-3 final isn’t a great indication of the offense, as it was a running clock for the full 40 minutes, however the defense took control early and ultimately made this a field goal competition.

  • 2023 Spring Game – Who & What to watch for

The 2023 spring game has arrived and with it remain plenty of questions. All eyes will be on the new Spiders offense and how the quarterbacks look, however there are plenty of other spots that have interesting battles ongoing. Here are the positions, and the players, to watch for at Robins Stadium this weekend.

  • 2023 Spring Practice – first update

3 spring practices in the books for the Spiders so far. Obviously position battles are just getting underway so we’re nowhere near seeing those decided, however seeing who’s involved for each spot has been rather evident early on.

  • 2023 Spring Preview – Offense

It’s been just over three months since we saw the Spiders in action but the wait is over come March 14th. Despite returning 6 total starters (arguably 7 based on playing time) the 2023 offense has plenty of question marks in early March, led by the departure of offensive coordinator Billy Cosh to Western Michigan.
