UR announced that Rob Noel (D-line) and Jameson Zacharias (Corners) have been hired to the staff for the 2023 season. This fills in the final two missing spots and completes the staff just in time for Spring ball.

UR also put the 2023 Spring roster on the website, linked here. Most notable was the confirmation that 2nd-team All-CAA safety Aaron Banks is returning for his 5th year, while starting linebacker Phil O’Connor is not. This puts the Spider secondary in much better position entering 2023 while the Spring/Summer will be interesting in the linebacker room. With both O’Connor and Xavier Marshall not returning there are two open spots to start alongside All-American Tristan Wheeler.
